Drops on Lilac Surface

Service Add-Ons

I offer a few select add-ons for specific needs.

De-Shedding Treatment

My specialized de-shed shampoo will open up the hair follicles, allowing more old hair to release. This means when I brush your dog, I can remove more of the undercoat - leaving more hair with us and less in your home.

Flea Bath

Even here in the desert your dog can get fleas. A good flea bath is necessary to both soothe your dog's skin and eliminate these pests.

Teeth Brushing

This is a quick brushing to help remove light tartar and freshen the breath.

Paw Wax and Nose Butter

Living in the desert can be difficult on those parts of your dog that require constant moisture. Adding some nose butter and paw wax directly after the bath will help restore and seal in extra moisture for these vital areas.

De-matting

We always put the care and comfort of your dog first. If your dog has significant matting, I will offer dematting for up to 30 minutes at a cost of $1 per minute.

A note on extensive matting:

If the matting covers 40% or more of your dog’s body and cannot be removed effectively by brushing, I will have to shave or cut mats out to minimize discomfort. Giving your dog a short haircut is more humane and causes the least amount of trauma. I will let you know if I feel this is the only option for your dog, and I will ALWAYS do my best to make the cut balanced and stylish.

Trims

If you don’t need a full haircut, I can add on the following stand-alone trims to your bath:

Sanitary Trim, Face Trim, Tail Trim, Feet Trim, Poodle Feet

Anal Gland Expression

(external only)

If you notice your dog scooting across the floor on their butt, they probably need their anal glands expressed. If the glands are heavily impacted, you will need to go to your vet for an internal expression.
